We'll touch more on how she was voted in later but essentially you can't hold a new vote unless whoever won the original vote is dead. Killing the Six-Feathers does not make you the new Six-Feathers. I saw someone say she killed her adoptive dad to become Six-Feathers and I have no idea where that person got that idea.
